Jakarta – Candidate president number 2 Prabowo Subianto congratulated the success of the Indonesian national football team in reaching the round of 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup.
This was conveyed by Prabowo when attending an open campaign with the theme of Indonesian Youth Voices for Prabowo-Gibran at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Saturday (27/1).
Indonesia, continued Prabowo, for the first time in many years, made history after securing a ticket to the round of 16 in the 2023 Asian Cup.
“And for the first time in many years, Indonesia entered the top 16 of the Asian Cup,” said Prabowo.
He also invited the public to continue to support the Indonesian national team players. Moreover, the next match will be against Australia.
“If I’m not mistaken, tomorrow we will play against Australia. We pray we will make a surprise. But whatever happens, we support our national team,” he said.
