Wawancara Prabowo Subianto dengan Deddy Corbuzier: Menang Tanpa Menyakiti, Itu Harus Kita Pegang

Jakarta – Presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto said, in principle, the victory achieved must not hurt others.
He conveyed it when he was a guest on Deddy Corbuzier’s podcast that aired on the YouTube channel @Deddy Corbuzier, Tuesday (13/2).
Prabowo then quoted one of the Javanese philosophies, ‘Menang tanpo ngasorake’. Meaning, ‘Winning without demeaning’.
He said this because he believes that many people do not care about others, in order to achieve victory/success.
“Sometimes, the western philosophy is somewhat different. Because what I see, in western philosophy, what matters is success. It doesn’t matter how you win, as long as you win,” said Prabowo.
“In order to achieve victory for us, our side, ourselves, our family, (sometimes) we hurt a lot of people. There is a Javanese philosophy, ‘Menang tanpo ngasorake’. ‘Winning without demeaning (hurting)’. That’s what we have to hold on to,” he emphasized.
Prabowo added, with this principle, we will live without resentment towards others. This life, he said, must have principles as held by the warriors and knights. They live by firmly holding on to the values of honesty, justice, and a commitment to help the weak and oppressed parties.
“If in the philosophy of a warrior, my teachers taught (me) not to hold grudges. A warrior is brave. Brave to defend truth, justice, honesty,” he said.
“Defend the weak, the poor, and the oppressed. That’s a knight. Defending must be brave, but must not hate and must not hold grudges,” concluded Prabowo. (SENOPATI)
