Jakarta – Prabowo Subianto, the newly elected president who has been declared the winner of the 2024 presidential election, met with the Chairman of NasDem, Surya Paloh, in Jakarta on Friday (22/3).
Prabowo said that his visit was to show respect to his old friend after the 2024 presidential election.
“Today I came to the NasDem headquarters to convey my appreciation and gratitude for the congratulations expressed by the Chairman of NasDem,” said Prabowo.
“As soon as the Indonesian KPU announced Prabowo Subianto as the elected president, and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the elected vice president, Surya Paloh immediately congratulated. To respect his statement, I came,” he continued.
Today’s meeting, Prabowo continued, is a manifestation of Indonesia’s development into a more mature and mature nation with its democratic system.
Prabowo continued, despite the challenges, Indonesia remains confident in choosing a democratic system, and in his opinion, the implementation of the 2024 election is one of the successes of democracy in Indonesia.
“We have conducted the 2024 election which is considered one of the general elections and the biggest day in the world. Of course, there are still many shortcomings, we understand that the system still needs to be improved, but this is the nation’s development process,” said Prabowo. (SENOPATI)
