“Banjir Pujian Prabowo Program Muslimat NU”

President Prabowo Subianto received a warm welcome from Khofifah Indar Parawansa, the Chairperson of the Central Leadership of Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), along with other board members, at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on January 14, 2025. Khofifah shared successful programmes and services implemented by Muslimat NU, which have made a direct impact on grassroots communities. President Prabowo praised the initiatives of Muslimat NU and highlighted the importance of their extensive network in ensuring the effectiveness of these programmes. During the meeting, Khofifah introduced two new initiatives – Mustika Mesem (Muslimat Combating Extreme Poverty) and Mustika Darling (Muslimat Environmental Awareness) – which will be launched at the upcoming XVIII Congress of Muslimat NU. Mustika Mesem aims to alleviate extreme poverty through activities like recitation, while Mustika Darling focuses on raising environmental awareness through waste management efforts led by Muslimat NU cadres. These programmes were emphasized for their significance in addressing critical issues such as poverty and environmental sustainability. Discussions also touched on the preparations for the XVIII Muslimat NU Congress scheduled from February 11-16, 2025, in Surabaya. The congress, expected to be attended by delegates nationwide, will work towards further strengthening the organization’s impact and presence. The meeting concluded with Khofifah inviting President Prabowo to attend the opening ceremony of the Congress on February 12.
