Despite several delays, they described the experience as both exciting and nerve-wracking. Other Indonesian attendees like Rajendra, Marvell, and Adyatama appreciated Prabowo’s gesture of personally shaking hands with them as he arrived. They expressed their hopes for a successful working visit in India and a brighter future under Prabowo’s leadership.
Prabowo’s visit to India not only signifies a new chapter in bilateral relations but also commemorates the 75th anniversary of diplomatic cooperation between Indonesia and India. Before leaving Jakarta, Prabowo expressed his pride in being invited as the chief guest at India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations, which he considered a great honor for Indonesia. He emphasized the participation of Indonesian TNI troops in the event, showcasing the strong ties between the two nations. The visit also includes planned meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss strengthening cooperation on various strategic issues.
