Prabowo: Village Cooperatives for Warehouses & Retail Outlets

President Prabowo Subianto, from the Republic of Indonesia, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to boosting the people’s economy by establishing 80,081 Merah Putih Village Cooperatives nationwide. During the official launch of these cooperatives, he stressed the importance of shortening supply chains to ensure that essential goods are accessible to low-income communities at fair prices. Through these cooperatives, the government plans to set up village-level infrastructure like warehouses, pharmacies, and retail outlets, to provide affordable generic medicines, fertilizers, and staple foods directly to the people. President Prabowo also emphasized the need for strict oversight and legal action against fraudulent practices in staple goods distribution, with the government utilizing AI tools and quality control labs to detect anomalies and price manipulation faster. In conclusion, he called for national unity in the pursuit of social justice and putting the nation and people’s interests above all else.
