PCO: Indonesian President Encourages Global Scientific Collaboration

Deputy for Dissemination and Media Affairs at the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), Noudhy Valdryno, highlighted President Prabowo Subianto’s dedication to enhancing the role of Indonesian scientists on the international stage. President Prabowo envisions a closer collaboration between Indonesian researchers and global scientists to propel Indonesia towards becoming a developed nation. This emphasis on scientific advancement aligns with the Asta Cita, particularly the pillar focused on human resource development and technology. To support this vision, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology holds the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) from August 7 to 9 at Bandung Institute of Technology. The convention serves as a crucial platform for top scientific minds in Indonesia to come together, emphasizing the significance of STEM fields in advancing the nation. With the theme “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” KSTI 2025 aims to foster collaboration between academia, industry, and government to accelerate Indonesia’s transition into a high-value industrial economy. The event has attracted over 2,000 scientists nationwide, showcasing its strategic importance in driving Indonesia’s scientific and economic development.
