Indonesian Students Welcome President Prabowo in Singapore

The visit of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to Singapore’s National Day celebrations left a lasting impact on Indonesian students studying in the country. Belinda, Donata, Daniel, and Ardi, students from the Singapore Institute of Management, were among those who had the opportunity to meet the President. They felt a strong connection to their homeland and a sense of closeness to Indonesia while interacting with President Prabowo. Meeting the leader of their nation while overseas brought a feeling of home to foreign land, reinforcing their national identity. The students expressed gratitude for the chance to shake hands with President Prabowo and members of the Kabinet Merah Putih. They described the experience as memorable and rare, especially as for some, it was their first time meeting a President in person. The encounter was meaningful and significant for them, making them feel closer to their roots amidst the celebrations of Singapore’s National Day.
