Orphan Andra Finds Hope in People’s School

Growing up without a father did not hinder Andra Farizki Ramdhani from pursuing his dreams. As a 10th-grade student at People’s High School in South Jakarta, Andra, raised by his hardworking mother, found renewed hope through the People’s School initiative introduced by President Prabowo Subianto.

Despite facing financial challenges, Andra expressed gratitude for the opportunity to receive a quality education through the People’s School program. He highlighted the positive impact of the initiative, emphasizing how it has motivated students to learn, become more intelligent, and contribute to Indonesia’s progress.

Attending a boarding school as part of the People’s School, Andra shared his experiences of adjusting to dormitory life. While missing his family, he found solace in the lively environment filled with friends and memorable moments shared with his roommates Fatir and Reza.

Andra praised the facilities at SRMA 10, noting the conducive learning environment that keeps him engaged and focused. Engaging in extracurricular activities such as judo and informatics, Andra remains determined to pursue his ambitions of becoming a judo athlete and continuing his education at the Defense University.

His aspirations are fueled by his mother’s unwavering support and prayers, inspiring him to excel despite the odds. Andra expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to study at the People’s School without financial burden, emphasizing the accessibility of quality education for underprivileged children.

With a strong resolve and his mother’s blessings, Andra believes that the People’s School is a beacon of hope, providing avenues for growth, independence, and the realization of his dreams.
