Children of Pacu Jalur Beam with Joy Meeting President Prabowo

Wirotirta and Aryana, two young performers of the traditional Indonesian sport Pacu Jalur, participated in the Independence Day celebrations at Merdeka Palace on Sunday, marking Indonesia’s 80th anniversary. Their excitement was evident as they performed before President Prabowo Subianto, an unforgettable experience for them. Dressed in vibrant green traditional Malay attire, the children’s synchronized and energetic movements captivated the thousands of spectators present, bringing regional culture pride to the national stage. Prior to their performance, a pencak silat troupe demonstrated their martial arts skills, while action star Iko Uwais showcased the traditional Indonesian art of self-defense.
