President Prabowo Subianto recently participated in the Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1447 H celebration at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta. Accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, the event revolved around the theme “The 2025 State-Level Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday: Ecotheology – The Example of Prophet Muhammad SAW for the Sustainability of the Earth and the Nation.” Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar delivered a sermon emphasizing the importance of love, compassion, and happiness, while Imam of Istiqlal Mosque, Husni Ismail, led a prayer urging worshippers to protect nature and promote peace. The main goal of the gathering was to honor Prophet Muhammad SAW and encourage his followers to uphold environmental preservation in line with his teachings.
